Pick Me a Flower Mini Quilt PDF Quilt Pattern
Gather your scraps and create a pretty flower to hang on the wall! This PDF quilt pattern finishes at 12.5" or about 32 cm square (including binding) and is great for using up some fabric scraps. Confident beginners could give this pattern a try, as I have written the pattern with lots of illustrations with beginners in mind. There is some small piecing in the centre star which can get a bit fiddly, so keep this in mind.
This is a great pattern for using a variety of scrap sizes. If you really want to use up a lot of smaller scraps, the background can be made with 28 squares - just make sure they all contrast well with the leaves and petals. The centre square of the star is perfect for fussy cutting a small motif, as I have done with the pattern quilt, and the alternative shown.
Note that this is a digital pattern that will need to be downloaded, this is not a listing for a paper pattern.
